Accreditations and Affiliations

BSY is proud of the accreditations it has achieved and the affiliations which it has developed.

Our affiliations enable BSY to keep up to date with good practice.

OCN Credit4Learning credits are also accepted as a means of entry to further education and university education.

Quality Licence Scheme

BSY has undergone an external quality check to ensure that we and the courses we offer under the Quality Licence Scheme, meet defined quality criteria. The Quality Licence Scheme, endorses high-quality, non-regulated provision and training programmes.

The completion of these courses alone may be used as evidence of knowledge and skills gained. The Learner Unit Summary may be used as evidence towards Recognition of Prior Learning if you wish to progress your studies in this subject. To this end the learning outcomes of the course have been benchmarked at Level 2, 3 or 4 against level descriptors published by Ofqual, to indicate the depth of study and level of demand/complexity involved in successful completion by the learner.

The courses have been designed by BSY to meet specific learners’ and/or employers’ requirements which cannot be satisfied through current regulated qualifications. Courses that include Quality Licence Scheme Certificate of Achievements are not regulated by Ofqual and are not accredited qualifications.

Quality Licence Scheme endorsement involves robust and rigorous quality audits by external auditors to ensure quality is continually met. A review of courses is carried out as part of the endorsement process.

Successful learners will receive a Certificate of Achievement from Quality Licence Scheme and a Learner Unit Summary (which lists the components the learner has completed as part of the course).

BSY will be able to advise you on any further recognition, for example progression routes into further and/or higher education. For further information please visit the Learner FAQs on the Quality Licence Scheme website.
