Course overview
Alchemy is the ancient art of transmuting base metals into gold. The psychological gold of all true alchemists is realisation of the Self. Similarly a process of self-discovery or self-realisation is the means by which all human psyches achieve full integration, according to Jung, the renowned psychologist. In order to reach this goal people follow what is known as the process of individuation – an alchemical process of transformation into a harmoniously integrated Self.
In this course you will learn about the Persona, the Shadow, the Animus and the Self – the Jungian psychological archetypes – and you will discover how these are expressed in alchemical texts, dreams, myths and stories from other times and cultures.

Successfully complete one Mind, Body, Spirit course and become an Adept in Mantic Arts of the New Age Foundation
Successfully complete two of these courses and become a Master in Mantic Arts
Successfully complete three of these courses and become a Fellow in Mantic Arts
Certification
On successful completion students will receive the following award: The New Age Foundation certificate in Alchemy and Psychology.

Your next lesson will then arrive for you to continue when it suits you. This allows us to continually assess understanding and competence of the subject.
Having progressed through each lesson you can take your final examination at home, and at a date and time that suits you. Then, on successful completion you will be awarded your BSY certificate.
