Course overview

If you are a trained Yoga Teacher and want to extend your skills, this course is ideal for you. It is also suitable for those living or working with children who have an established Yoga practice of a minimum of two years. You must be knowledgeable about Yoga asanas, techniques and philosophy, and be a keen practitioner, maintaining regular practice. Children’s Yoga is a world apart from the adult Yoga class, being more spontaneous, more creative and much noisier!  The essential elements required to teach structured classes to children of different ages are covered, together with ideas for using children’s natural powers of imagination and creativity – integrating games and other activities such as storytelling, singing, counting and drawing.
