Course overview

This course is a must for the home carer or for those who wish to work in the caring professions. It will help you explore and understand the role of the carer and the qualities that are required by those who are involved in the caring professions.  Health and Safety in the workplace and home is addressed, including prevention of accidents and dealing with medical emergencies, together with the important subjects of emotional support, control of infection and day and night care.
