Yoga Therapy (Stage 3)

Level: Practitioner level 3

By successfully completing this course, you will:

  • Gain skills and knowledge to practice Yoga Therapy – graduates of this course can also obtain professional liability insurance
  • Become a Registered BSY Yoga Therapy Stage 3 Practitioner
  • Be awarded the professional BSY Diploma
  • Be eligible to become a member of AHCP (Association of Complementary Practitioners)

You can study this course from the comfort of your own home; in your own time and at your own pace; with helpful support and encouragement from our friendly tutors. A 1 day practical workshop is available for students with no prior massage experience.

Course overview

We begin this level with the study of digestion and nutrition, written by Rosalind Sinnett SRN. We move on to first aid and hygiene and then study further therapeutic treatments using basic shiatsu and remedial massage. The course continues with study of cellular dynamics, response mechanisms, neurology and reflex action. The studies also involve control techniques and treatments for common conditions.

Your practical training is a valuable opportunity to learn directly from an experienced practical training tutor with specialist skills. Additional fees apply*.

*BSY currently charges £85 per day. For any practical training workshop or assessment organised independently of BSY, BSY shall have no liability to any person for any loss or damage, whether direct or indirect, resulting from the workshop or assessment, any fees due will be agreed between you and the assessor.
