Why students enjoy studying Massage courses

Massage comes in a variety of different forms, for example aromatherapy or sports.  It can be either relaxing or invigorating and our students find that studying is an excellent way to learn more about the various techniques, with our training ranging from Indian Head to Pregnancy and Baby Massage.

Karen Richards chose to study Hot Stone Therapy. She said that she felt that it followed on as a natural progression from studying several other therapies.  She had previously spent time studying Relaxation and Indian Head Massage and Reflexology courses, and found the lessons easy to follow and the practical training informative and very useful.  She said that she felt that there is no pressure to complete by a certain time, so it had fitted in very well with her lifestyle.  It would also help her to become a successful therapist and make her feel good about herself.  She is now successfully practising Hot Stone Therapy in a therapy centre.  She has since gone onto study Aromatherapy, and would like to learn about Shiatsu in the future.

Being a working mother meant that studying Advanced Aromatherapy has fitted in very well with Helen Brain’s life.  She chose to study with BSY because of the convenience as it allowed her to study at home at her own pace and said that she chose Advanced Aromatherapy to complement her BSY Pilates and Hatha Yoga Teacher qualifications and hopes to start teaching both Pilates and Yoga.  Her advice to her fellow students would be to choose their courses wisely, make the most of the resources available, not to overload themselves with work and to try to do what they enjoy!  She was particularly happy with the support provided and the speed at which the marked assignments are returned to her.

A recommendation by a family member led to Danny Norton enrolling on one of BSY’s Massage courses.  He already had a strong interest in the subject and thought that it would be ideal to study at home in his own time.  He said that he was happy with all aspects of his studying and remarked how convenient it was to send off his assignments and get a very quick reply, and that it was the perfect home learning programme.  In the future he would also consider learning more about Shiatsu and Reflexology.
