Why our students choose Nutrition courses

BSY offers various courses covering the many different ways that food and diet can affect our lives, with subjects ranging from weight loss to the value of different foods in our diet.

Hannah Lodder is studying Nutrition and Weight Consultancy because she wants to start a Fitness and Nutritional business, and also because she loves to learn about how the body works.  She said, “BSY have loads of different courses.  There is a lot to pick from.”  She added that they are very informative, you can do it in your own time, and support is there when you need it.

Sandra Stafford commented that she believes it is beneficial to other holistic therapies to understand the role food has in our wellbeing.  She added, “I would like to be able to advise clients on how they can improve their diets.”  Sandra chose to study with BSY because it gives the student flexibility to fit study in to a busy schedule and also because BSY has a good reputation.  In addition, she was impressed on initial contact with the information that she was given, and the person giving it.  Since enrolling with BSY she has been happy with the professionalism of BSY and the content of the lessons, and would consider studying other subjects related to food, relaxation and lifestyle.  To anybody thinking of studying with BSY, she says, “the cost is so reasonable, the study so straightforward, there are no stressful deadlines – so what’s to lose?”

Being a freelance chef, Caroline Wilson wanted to understand more about the food and body relationship.  She chose one of BSY’s courses because it covered everything she wanted to learn and was flexible at a reasonable price.  She said, “I really like the fact it is very in depth, as many other courses I looked at were not.”  In future she feels that her studies will provide her with more knowledge when cooking, and help clients to use food to benefit their lifestyles, and teach them how to be more nutritious.  In future, she would like to learn more about this subject, and would love to study Sport and maybe Vegetarian Nutrition.  She would advise anyone else considering studying with BSY to “look at the samples of the course as it was great for me to see how much was covered and compare other similar courses with BSY to see which one is right for you.  And then book!!”
