Course overview

Of all the types of writing, travel writing is one of the most exciting, and also the most rewarding financially and personally.

In this course you will discover how to gauge the market for travel writing, how to plan your work and do research, and you will learn techniques for producing and selling top quality articles, reviews, books and guides.

The course is suitable for complete beginners, as well as those with some experience.  While covering the technical side of writing, it is also strongly focused towards making an income from your talent.  There are special sections on making extra money from travel photography, selling subsidiary rights and obtaining free travel.  You’ll also learn a little about self-publishing using both traditional and electronic techniques.
