Wonderful feedback about the BSY counselling courses

People study with BSY for a wide range of reasons.  Some may be interested in starting a new career or developing their existing career.  Others may be looking to improve their wellbeing or learn something new in a fascinating subject.  Whatever reason you may have for learning more about our subjects, it can be interesting to read feedback from those who have already joined our family of students.  They can help you learn more about what it is like to study the BSY counselling courses or one of our other subjects.

Linda Long enrolled on the Nutritional Therapist course.  She chose to take this subject as she ‘would like to start a career as a nutritional therapist’.  Linda decided to enrol with BSY as ‘the course was ideal for me and the customer service was excellent’.  Thinking about her nutritional therapist course, Linda has been most happy with ‘the prompt tutor service’.  If someone is thinking of studying with BSY, Linda would say to ‘do it.  Best thing I have ever done; very empowering.’  Linda agrees that ‘BSY courses are excellent value for money’.

Karen Horton decided to enrol on the Basic Counselling Skills course.  More information on this topic is available within the counselling courses section of the website.  Karen chose this subject because ‘in my position as a health trainer, I have one to one consultations with GP referrals, and often many clients will become upset or wish to talk about their life situation’.  Karen decided to enrol with BSY as ‘it fits into a busy working pattern and there are no time ties and limits or deadlines’.  She commented that ‘the turnaround time for marking work is excellent’.  Karen agreed that she would ‘recommend BSY to a friend’ and that ‘studying with BSY is enjoyable’.

Clare Lewell chose the Sports Injuries course from BSY.  Clare decided to learn more about this fascinating topic as ‘I am interested in sports injuries.  I am self-employed as a massage therapist and want to add it to my treatments.’  Previously, Clare studied the sports massage course.  She decided to study with BSY because ‘of the price; I like the way the course is put together, NCFE qualification’.  Clare agrees that ‘studying with BSY is convenient’ and that ‘the BSY course advisors are helpful’.

Student comments on our counselling courses

Receiving feedback from our students can offer us a fascinating insight into what people think of our courses.  It’s not just useful for ourselves though – many of those who are thinking of studying with us can gain the benefit of reading the feedback too.  It can help them decide which areas to choose and what they could do when they successfully complete their studies.

Carol Paul chose to study psychotherapy – which can be found in the counselling courses section of the website.  Carol chose this subject as ‘I am already a counsellor and wanted to continue into psychotherapy’.  She decided to study with BSY as ‘when I first started I was recovering from a serious accident so I could not return to my previous work, nor could I travel to study.  Home courses were convenient and BSY have a good range to choose from.’  Carol has been most happy with ‘the full range of content within the course material’.  The course may help her in the future to be ‘a fully educated psychotherapist with a wide knowledge, able to be really useful and helpful to my clients.’  To those thinking of studying with BSY, Carol said ‘I would suggest that they really give the BSY courses real consideration.  I feel that the BSY assignments are thorough and fully equal to any other.  Being able to do the assignments as and when you can is a real bonus as people have other calls on their time and the BSY never pesters anyone with deadlines or due dates, which makes the courses comfortable to do.’  Carol agrees that ‘BSY courses are excellent value for money’.

Louise Hartshorn decided to study herbalism (one of our complementary therapy courses).  Louise decided to take the course as ‘I’ve always been interested in herbalism and have used it for myself over the years, but I wanted to take this interest further.’  Louise decided to study with BSY because ‘the course was the best for me and I have many other commitments that required me to learn at distance’.  Thinking about her complementary therapy course, she has been most happy with ‘feeling my brain waking up’.  Louise said that the course may help her in the future ‘to continue with learning more and extending my knowledge into a profession’.  Louise agrees that ‘studying with BSY is convenient’ and that ‘the BSY course advisors are helpful’.

Feedback on our counselling courses and more

At BSY, we always enjoy reading the feedback of those who are taking our complementary therapy and counselling courses.  We also feel that it can help fellow students as well as offering valuable words of advice to those thinking of studying with us.

Helena Fae Dyson enrolled on the Eating Disorders (Part 1) course and the Basic Counselling course.  She chose to study them as ‘I was interested in the subject area and it would help me in my work/future career choice’.  Helena decided to enrol with BSY as ‘the courses are broken down in to manageable chunks and there is no pressure to finish each module.  There are a wide variety of interesting subjects available and you get our what you want to put in to the course.’  So far, Helena has been most happy with the ‘feedback written under most of my answers’ which  ‘have given me encouragement and different ways of presenting answers – such as labelled medical diagrams.’  Helena feels that these courses will help her to ‘progress on to a different career path and support my practice in my current role as a front line women’s support worker’.  If you are thinking of studying with BSY then Helena would say that ‘this is a fantastic way of juggling studying with employment and family life.  I am a single mum and have no support with my children so if issues pop up I can put my studies on hold – avoiding the stress of deadlines having a knock on effect on my course work, job and home life.  All courses are manageable-sized modules and confidence builds as you progress.’  Helena agrees that she ‘would recommend BSY to a friend’ and that ‘BSY courses are excellent value for money’.

Valerie Goose chose the Homeopathy course (one of our complementary therapy courses).  Valerie chose this course as ‘I am interested in “natural health” and wanted to enhance my knowledge so that I can offer my clients the best choices for their health as well as helping myself and my family’.  Valerie decided to study with BSY as ‘it has a good reputation and is well established.  Also I am able to study in my own time and that fits in with my other commitments.’  She has been most happy with ‘the standard of the lessons which don’t overload you with lots of unnecessary information’.  To those who may be thinking of studying with BSY, Valerie says ‘go for it.  You have nothing to lose and a lot to gain, and you will enjoy it too.’  Valerie agrees that ‘studying with BSY is convenient and that ‘the BSY course advisors are helpful’.
