How Reflexology Training helps provide our students with additional skills

Having regular Reflexology treatments herself made Louise Schultz curious.  She said that she was fascinated by how it works with the body and decided that she would like to study the subject so that she could learn more about it.  She chose to study with BSY because of the choice of courses available, and also because of the reviews she read from previous students.  It was also important to her to be able to study at home and in her own time.  She said she was happy with “the ease of studying in my own time and the promptness of sending back the marked assignment and next questions.”  She has decided that she can gain even more from her studies by highlighting key areas in her manual and also by planning her studying sessions on a weekly basis.  Originally from a teaching background, Louise’s Reflexology Training has now made her keen to look more at alternative therapies and she is considering Aromatherapy Training in the future.  To anyone considering studying with BSY, she says “just do it!  You get a great amount of support and the ease of being able to fit it in around a busy life is great as there are no time limits.”  She commented that over all, it was a great, in-depth, thorough course at an affordable price.

Karen Hudson decided to enrol for Reflexology Training.  She also enrolled on BSY’s Anatomy and Physiology course as she wanted to improve her knowledge.  She said that she currently holds a level 2 diploma and needed an up to date perception of Anatomy and Physiology.  She works as a Beauty and Holistic Therapist and has her own business, and chose to study with BSY because of the good name promoted and the flexibility it offers as she works up to 50 hours a week.   Karen is also a qualified lecturer and NVQ assessor, and now teaches Reiki and Beauty as well.  She was particularly happy with the flexibility of her courses, and the monthly payment plan, and has recommended BSY to her friends – one of whom intended enrolling on BSY’s counselling courses.  She said that her studies had provided her with more knowledge to use within her career, and her Reflexology Training enabled her to offer Reflexology as an additional treatment.  She said that she will definitely be studying other courses with BSY in the future, although she hadn’t yet decided which one – she commented that there was so much choice, which was fantastic!

The many benefits discovered by BSY students learning about Fitness Training

Learning about Fitness training not only leads to BSY students qualifying to help other people, but also gives them the knowledge to look after their own fitness needs.

Jonathon Knight said that he is hugely passionate about sports and fitness, and wanted to turn his passion into a career.  He said, “to be able to do a job that I love, to be able to turn your most treasured hobby into a career is simply amazing.”  He had previously studies Personal Training, Gym Instructor and Sports Injuries with BSY.  He said that he chose BSY because they were a reputable company with an excellent record, and provide fantastic customer service and tutorial help and advice, as well as providing clear, informative and easy to understand courses.  When asked what he had been most happy about with his recent course, he replied, “all of it. I simply can’t find any fault with any of the courses that I have studied.”  In the future he wants to progress into a career and industry which he really wants to get involved with.  He has in fact already started his change of career direction.  Since studying with BSY he has moved into Gym Instructing.  To anyone thinking of studying with BSY, his advice would be, “don’t think, just do it and reap the rewards.  From personal experience I would say if you want a course to change your life for the better in career terms, this is the College to study with.”

Tony Lea chose his Personal Fitness Trainer course because it was a home study course and not expensive, yet provided him with all the support he needs.  He chose to study with BSY because it was easy to establish over the internet, the course is broken down into manageable sections, and there is no time limit to finish the course.  He is very happy with the good feed back that he receives from the BSY team.  This encourages and motivates him to study hard, and his course has inspired him to change his career.  Future courses he would like to study include Sports Injuries, Nutrition and Sports Massage.

Someone who leads a frenetic life style is Martin Fraser.  He wanted to use his Fitness Training to lead to future employment post retirement and found that the flexibility and cost effectiveness of studying with BSY was ideal for him.  He thinks that his training will increase his marketability in the health industry, which is where he sees his future career.   To anyone thinking of studying with BSY, he says that it is the best medium for studying if you have a busy lifestyle.

Beauty Training helps students find new career direction

Looking forward to qualifying after Beauty training can often mean a total change of direction for BSY students, giving them an opportunity to carve out a career and to gain real job satisfaction.

Sharon Rosewarne decided to study Manicure and Pedicure with BSY as she wants to become a Nail Technician.  She had previously studied Hopi Ear Candling, Psychic Development and Regression & Hypno-Analysis, so was already aware that studying with BSY is “convenient and I am able to study at my own pace.”  She sees her future career being in Beauty when she has finished training, and she would also like to study the subject further.  She commented that she found studying with BSY convenient and she is able to study at her own pace.  She said that she has been happy with everything about her course – “it is fabulous!”

Prior to studying Manicure and Pedicure with BSY, Polly Rogers had also gained BSY qualifications in Tarot, Weight Consultancy and Iridology.  She chose BSY as she has two young children and finds that she can study at her own pace without being greatly pressured.  She also finds time to read around the subject further.   She said that she has been happy with the efficient return of her assignments and the helpful and supportive comments she received.  “All the team have been pleasant, helpful and supportive too.”  Now that her children are growing up, Polly would like to further her training and take the BSY Specialist Foot Care Course.  Her advice to someone thinking of studying with BSY is to “go for it, you won’t be disappointed.  You will be surprised at yourself and all the team are fab.”

Zita Reinach chose Beauty training with BSY because she has always been inspired by all things related to beauty.  She enrolled on the Beauty Specialist course, and said that this gave her the opportunity to realise her dream.  She has found learning about skin structure and function, and how to perform a facial particularly useful.  She has also found that studying with BSY helps her improve her English, which is her second language.  Having originally applied for jobs cleaning and working in shops, Zita has started her change of career, and her ultimate ambition is to open her own beauty salon.  She says that she would like to take her Beauty training to the next level and to study aromatherapy, massage and Indian Head massage.  She commented that the terms of payment for BSY courses are flexible, the price is affordable, and that the courses are convenient and enjoyable – “they don’t stress you”!
